We started at Old Wives Beach and explored there for about an hour making our way down to about 100 feet at one point. We hadn't been diving there before so we wanted to see what was there. We got to see a few clams a little bigger than my hand, lots of fish, more blue sea stars and a turtle! It was pouring when we got out of the water, so we returned home to warm up a bit before heading back out.
Later that afternoon, we went to Gab Gab so we could dive to Clown Town and get more pictures. It was still rainy but the water was nice. Once we found Clown Town again, we hung out there for awhile just exploring the area. It was much bigger than we originally thought and it was fun watching all the fish in the area. We left for awhile to continue exploring the reef and we spotted another turtle! Then we returned to Clown Town for more pictures and video before heading back to shore for the day.
I created a slideshow of some of our photos for you to enjoy. Sorry for the watermark, it's a free trial.
I am also including videos that Carlton took when we were at Gab Gab. He got a video of the turtle we saw at Gab Gab.
This video shows Clown Town.
This last video shows Clown town...hopefully you can get an idea of the size of it with the video. It was hard to demonstrate in photos. This video also shows a couple clown fish who are not too happy about Carlton's closeness to their homes!!
Hope you enjoyed the visuals!! :-)
